Love the video and your frank style! Your boat reminds me of the twin-Hurley 19 that I used to sail in Florida. Not fast, but a very solid little ship. Think about producing some more. Thank you!
Brilliant video, very very funny. I’m sure there must be a vacancy as safety officer for you, when they refloat the Costa Concordia. Hopefully this wont be the last of your sailing adventure uploads.
where online can i buy a boat like this?
Lmao at the gusts of wind at 7:57
What a laugh Al, wonderful stuff, do go out more often and post more. Cheers
a nice sail, a coffee and a joint, what more could you want?
i live in plymouth and was at wembury yesterday looking out at that small island, very rocky area even 200 plus yards out. great vid.
Loved the ending!! LOLOLOLOLO
There were a few surprises at about 7:57 to 8:06, Like you Shitting your pants!!!
She’s a Norman Pearn (of Loo) Sea Drift 20′ – early ’70s. She only draws 2′ so she’s not too good close to the wind and complete rubbish in light winds – you have to sail her like an old, square rigged sailing ship, which I actually quite like, but she’s the biggest, roomiest 20′ boat I have ever known!

She goes well into wind… is she an Eventide?
Thanks for reminding me of the joys of UK sailing and all that goes with it.
Great video.
Bike gloves whilst sailing? Snap! Great video chap.
ill always tell that story to the end when im out sailing to a quiet anchor, tom the trailor sailor.
oh jolly good show i must say
Thats what i call a day out !
I needed a good laugh…LMAO
LMOL great finish mate. I must admit I’m not a sailor but do love adventure. I’m just checking out YT to get a feel of this lifestyle and stumbled on your vid. Out of all the sailing videos I watched yours is the “bomb” if I had to hire a sailing instructor I’d hire you. Since you sail and ride a motorcycle ill finish by saying…. keep the rudder and rubber side down.
Best ending ever! I was laughing so hard I almost pissed myself.
I was going to tell you how I love this video. But, really, I can’t be bothered. ” )
You play the butt trumpet very well.
Good stuff Al, none of that yachty glamour, just s good sail.
Captain Al. Thanks v much for the video, it cheered me up no end!
